- 2 cups Flour
- 2/3 cup Sunflower oil
- 2 tbsp Baking powder
- 2 Apples
- 1 tbsp Vanilla essence
- 2/3 cups Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Baking soda
- 4 Eggs
- 100 grams Walnuts – Chopped
- 50 grams Powder Sugar
Instructions
- Beat the eggs until you get a smooth texture.
- Add the sugar, oil, baking powder, soda and vanilla essence and mix well. Add the grated apples.
- Add the chopped walnuts.
- Start adding the flour in several portions.
- After each portion of flour, stir well until the mixture is smooth.
- Bake the cake for 35 – 40 minutes at 200°C (392°F) or until it gets golden brown. Once the cake is no longer hot, spread the powder sugar on top.
