Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack Phyllo dough – 500 grams
  • 3 pieces Leek
  • 500 grams Mince
  • 5 tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Red Pepper
  • 1 Egg

Instructions
 

  • Wash and cut the leek.
    Step 1 - Wash and cut the leek
  • Preheat 2 tbsp. of Oil in a pan and add the chopped leek with the mince. Add the seasoning and stir until the mince is cooked.
    Step 2 - Cook the leek with the mince
  • On every 2 sheets of the phyllo dough add about 2 tbsp. of the filling and roll. Place the ready rolls in a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356°F).
    Step 3 - Roll the dough
  • Beat the egg with 2 tbsp. of oil and spread it evenly on top of the rolls.
    Step 4 - Spread the egg on top of the banitsa
  • Bake the Banitsa for 40 minutes at 180 °C (356°F).
    Step 5 - Bake the banitsa
